Lindsay Clancy's Doctor Never Asked Her To Sign THIS

The most damaging hours of the Lindsay Clancy murder trial belonged to her own defense attorney on Day 10. Then the prosecution took the exact same testimony and turned it around.Kevin Reddington spent the morning at Plymouth Superior Court walking Dr. Jennifer Tufts through everything she did not have. No file from the perinatal clinic her patient was attending. No conversation with the family. No signed authorization that would have unlocked either. Tufts, who is a named defendant in a malpractice claim over this care, told the jury she did not believe she had been negligent.Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Sprague began her redirect by asking Tufts to describe what psychosis looks like in an appointment, then asked whether she had ever seen any of it in Lindsay Clancy. Tufts answered no. She said she saw no mania either, and described the presentation as the opposite.Sprague then built out the state's theory. Clancy scheduled her own appointments. She took herself to an emergency room without being sent. She reported her medications and her reactions to them with precision. On the family question, Sprague established that federal privacy law barred Tufts from calling relatives at all.One more detail landed for the prosecution. Clancy reported on January 16, 2023 that she had to force herself out of bed, and Tufts testified she had no idea her patient had taken the children to the Museum of Science days earlier.Tony lays out both readings of the same day and where the afternoon witness leaves them.Clancy is presumed innocent of the charges against her and has pleaded not guilty.
