The life of Samuel demonstrates another possibility: even in darkness, if we are willing to tune our frequency, we can become a channel for God's word. This transformation begins with "listening." In the silence, Samuel identified the Heavenly Father’s call—not through eloquence, but through his identity in God and a heart that refused to hide the truth. Listening is for building connection; speaking is for living out one's calling. At the same time, this serves as a reminder for the family. While responding to our mission, we must not forget to cultivate love and be a role model at home. I invite you to practice quieting your heart; let every step of your life be purposeful because of God’s presence.
