當工作、感情、家庭或健康卡在谷底，最讓人崩潰的往往不是事情困難，而是不知道下一步該怎麼辦。正如約翰福音第四章中那位大臣，縱然擁有身分與資源卻救不了垂死的兒子，最終只能來到耶穌面前。耶穌對他說：「回去吧，你的兒子活了。」在尚未看見結果時，大臣選擇憑著信心轉身離去。真正的信心，不是等一切變好才相信，而是在還沒看見時，就先照著神的話語往前走。 我們常常期望神立刻解決問題，但神更深的心意是建立我們對祂的信心，讓我們認識到祂不僅是行神蹟的主，更是生命的主與開路的主。當你走到無路可走的地步時，需要的不是再多想一個方法，而是回到這位能開路的主面前聆聽祂的聲音。 參考經文：約翰福音4章46-54節 When work, relationships, family, or health hit rock bottom, what breaks you down the most is often not the difficulty of the situation, but simply not knowing what step to take next. Just like the royal official in John chapter 4, who despite having status and resources could not save his dying son, he ultimately had no choice but to come to Jesus. Jesus said to him, "Go, your son lives." Before seeing any results, the official chose to turn back in faith. True faith is not waiting until everything gets better to believe, but moving forward according to God's word even when you cannot yet see it. We often expect God to solve our problems immediately, but His deeper intention is to build our faith in Him, helping us realize that He is not only the God of miracles, but also the Lord of life and the Way Maker. The prophet Jonah attempted to flee to Tarshish to hide from the Lord, yet amidst the turbulent waves of life and three days and three nights in the belly of a fish, he experienced God's sovereign environment and loving discipline. The fierce storms of life may seem violent, but they are not meant to destroy us; rather, they are the Heavenly Father's way of restoring and redeeming us out of love. Jonah's choice during the storm to acknowledge his identity, sacrifice himself, and be cast into the sea clearly foreshadows Jesus Christ—the One who did not shrink back from His mission, willingly bore our sins, and rose again from the dead. The true way out is always to turn to the Gospel. When we are willing to let go, stop running, and release our tight grip, God can fully take over. As long as we are willing to turn to God with our weaknesses, our hardened hearts will be softened by the Father's tender love, leading us to experience peace in the midst of the storm and renewing us to become a vessel for the voice of His Gospel. Within a God-centered community, there are people at different stages of their spiritual walk: from the "children" who simply know the Father, to the "young men" who are strong in overcoming the evil one, and the "fathers" who are seasoned in their walk with the Lord. In the Bible, Paul calls us to "put off your old self"—just like taking off dirty clothes—and to no longer be burdened by a yoke of slavery. Changing your life doesn't require struggling to survive on willpower alone; instead, it requires turning to God’s "unmerited favor." When we believe that the blood of Jesus has cleansed us and that God is always on our side, the power of the Holy Spirit (the anointing) follows that blood into our lives. This allows us to naturally produce the fruit of love, joy, and peace. 你是否也曾有過這樣的時刻？看到別人的行為，在心裡默默給他貼上了標籤，覺得對方就是不夠努力、不夠愛主…。我們常告訴自己：「我是在愛裡說誠實話」、「我是在關心他」，但很多時候，我們其實是帶著一種自以為義的優越感，悄悄坐上了上帝的審判席。 其實，容易論斷人是因為我們的「心」受傷了。可能是過往的創傷讓我們築起防線，也可能是內心的自卑讓我們必須透過抓別人的毛病，來平衡自己的軟弱。耶穌說，我們總想挑掉別人眼中的小刺，卻看不見自己眼裡巨大的梁木。 這不是要我們盲目地不分對錯，而是邀請我們放下法官的姿態。當想評論的衝動湧上時，試著先跟聖靈連線，把「我早就知道他是這樣」換成「主啊，祢怎麼看？」當我們挪開了眼中的梁木，才能真正用神的眼光，看見彼此生命中的珍珠。 參考經文：馬太福音7章1-6節 Have you ever had a moment like this? You see how someone else is acting and silently label them in your heart, thinking they just aren’t trying hard enough or don’t love the Lord enough. We often tell ourselves, "I’m just speaking the truth in love" or "I’m just concerned about them." But more often than not, we are actually slipping into God’s judgment seat, carrying a sense of self-righteous superiority. In reality, a tendency to judge others usually means something is hurting in our own hearts. It might be past traumas causing us to build up defenses, or internal insecurities that drive us to point out others' flaws just to balance out our own weaknesses. Jesus said we are always so quick to pick at the tiny speck in someone else’s eye, yet we fail to notice the massive log in our own. This isn’t a call to blindly ignore right from wrong; it’s an invitation to step down from the judge’s bench. When the urge to criticize rises up, try connecting with the Holy Spirit first. Swap the thought "I knew they were like this" for "Lord, how do You see them?" Only when we remove the log from our own eyes can we truly see the pearls in each other’s lives through the eyes of God. The "Soul"—our thoughts, emotions, and will—is the key battleground. We must choose to take every thought captive, align ourselves with God's Word, and renew our minds. 耶穌在馬太福音 6章16-18 節教我們：禁食不是表面上的行為，而是把心轉向「在暗中察看」的天父。禁食禱告不是「折磨」自己，更不是宗教形式；是 deny yourself —— 捨己，讓焦點重新對準神。 聖經中，從但以理到使徒行傳，禁食都不是偶爾的靈修活動，而是屬靈人的生活方式。它推進我們的信心，讓我們聽見聖靈的引導，被差派、被更新。 而禁食不只是不吃東西。真正奪走我們專注的，也可能是手機、社群、暴食、購物、或那些能最快釋放多巴胺、卻讓心上癮的習慣。 從一餐、一段時間開始，把你最容易上癮的那件事按下暫停鍵，把這 30 分鐘獻給神，對祂說：「父，我要更多地看見祢。」當你在暗中尋求祂，祂必親自回應你。 參考經文：馬太福音6章16-18節 In Matthew 6:16–18, Jesus teaches us that fasting is not an outward performance, but a turning of the heart toward the Father who “sees in secret.” Fasting and prayer are not self-inflicted hardship, nor a religious ritual; they are an act of deny yourself—laying down self so our focus can return to God. Throughout Scripture, from Daniel to the book of Acts, fasting is never portrayed as an occasional spiritual practice, but as a way of life for those who walk with God. It strengthens our faith, sharpens our ability to hear the Holy Spirit, and prepares us to be sent and renewed. And fasting is not only about abstaining from food. What steals our focus may also be our phone, social media, binge-eating, shopping, or any habit that delivers a quick hit of dopamine and slowly becomes an addiction of the soul. Start with one meal or a short period of time. Pause the very thing you are most attached to, and give those 30 minutes to God. Say to Him, “Father, I want to see You more.” When you seek Him in secret, He will surely respond.
