Resisting Proverbs 28:4 To reject the law is to praise the wicked; to obey the law is to fight them. 4. Understanding Proverbs 28:5 Evil people don’t understand justice,but those who follow the Lord understand completely. 5. Responding Proverbs 28:12 When the godly succeed, everyone is glad. When the wicked take charge, people go into hiding. 6. Dangerous Proverbs 28:15 A wicked ruler is as dangerous to the poor as a roaring lion or an attacking bear. 7. Oppression Proverbs 28:16 A ruler with no understanding will oppress his people, but one who hates corruption will have a long life. 8. Corruption Proverbs 29:4 The king establishes the land by justice, But he who receives bribes overthrows it. 9. Riots Proverbs 29:8 Scoffers set a city aflame, But wise men turn away wrath.
