Since then, the Fredericksburg community has come together to raise more than $320,000 to support brain aneurysm research through the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. The 2026 Austen’s Communitas Walk is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, with registration at 9 a.m. and the walk beginning at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park on Kenmore Avenue.  austenscommunitaswalk.org
