You’ll find in the Caitanya-caritāmṛta that Lord Caitanya says the Holy Name doesn’t wait for initiation; it’s sufficient for everything. And it is. However, because we’re affected by the modes of material nature by dint of taking birth in the material world—especially in Kali-yuga—it’s unlikely that one is born as a liberated soul. Therefore, there’s provision within the process to maintain a higher state of life through the pañcarātrika-vidhi. You know what I mean by pañcarātrika-vidhi? It means the rules and regulations given for Deity worship; especially, it’s a lifestyle. It means that you live clean, in the mode of goodness, so you can approach the Deity without making any offense. Therefore, Jīva Gosvāmī, in his commentary on the verse in which Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu says the Holy Name is sufficient, says that we must also have pañcarātrika initiation. This means that we have to worship the Deity along with chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa. Otherwise, we’ll fall victim to the lower modes of material nature and we won’t be able to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. Oftentimes, people sit to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa and they say, "Man, maybe later; right now, I’ll scroll." Then twenty years later, everyone says, 'What happened to you?' and he goes, 'Yeah, what was that mantra? If you could remind me, I’ll try starting again.' Therefore, there is this all-encompassing framework given by our ācāryas: you keep yourself clean in your lifestyle by pañcarātrika rules and regulations, and at the same time, you chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. These are what Prabhupāda used to refer to as the 'two train tracks' by which your train can go back home, back to Godhead. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://vaisesikadasayatra.blogspot.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://thefourquestionsbook.com/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Song Against Songs, The by G. K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936) LibriVox LibriVox volunteers bring you 9 recordings of The Song Against Songs by G. K. Chesterton. This was the Fortnightly Poetry project for October 16, 2011.Chesterton was a large man, standing 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m) and weighing around 21 stone (130 kg; 290 lb). His girth gave rise to a famous anecdote. During World War I a lady in London asked why he was not 'out at the Front'; he replied, 'If you go round to the side, you will see that I am.' On another occasion he remarked to his friend George Bernard Shaw: "To look at you, anyone would think a famine had struck England". Shaw retorted, "To look at you, anyone would think you have caused it". P. G. Wodehouse once described a very loud crash as "a sound like Chesterton falling onto a sheet of tin."( Summary from Wikipedia ) Spanish with Levi Levi Flint 🎙️ Welcome to Spanish with Levi — formerly Mexican Fluency.I’m Levi — a gringo with a Master’s in Teaching Spanish — and I’m here to help you understand and sound more Mexican when you speak.Alongside my Mexican wife, Renata, I share practical tips, immersive stories, and real conversations to help you build fluency and speak with confidence.📅 New episodes every week:• Tuesdays: Smarter ways to study Spanish• Thursdays: Immersive content — stories, scene breakdowns, and interviewsExplore my courses, blog, and more at SpanishWithLevi.com📱 Follow me on social: @SpanishWithLevi Newsic – The sound of the headlines Newsic Team Newsic – The sound of the headlines.
