In this epsiode of Live From The Edison Times Square Chronicles Presents: owner Suzanna Bowling chats with Rocky Horror's Amber Gray. Ms. Gray originated the role of Hélène Bezukhova in the musical Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812 and the role of Persephone in the musical Hadestown, both Off- and on Broadway. As Hélène she was awarded a 2017 Theatre World Award for her performance. For her role of Persephone she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical and additionally the cast earned the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. She's reprised the role for her West End debut in February and March 2025. Now Gray stars as Riff Raff in Broadway's The Rocky Horror Show at Studio 54, directed by Sam Pinkleton, marking her return following Hadestown and Eureka Day, which opens April 23rd.
