David and Sue were LIVE from the first NGV Friday night of the season BUT the Request Hour had to go ahead so we asked all the interviewees for a song and this request hour is the result – think Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, New Order + lots more. They also interviewed a couple of the DJ’s that will be performing over the coming months at the NGV Friday Nights which run until 10th April and include entry to the amazing Keith Haring | Jean-Michel Basquiat: Crossing Lines exhibition which is the work of two of the most significant & influential artists of the late 20th century. It’s a world premiere exhibition exclusive to Melbourne. The exhibition offers new and fascinating insights into their unique visual languages. See the exhibition website for more info. It runs from 1 December to 13 April 2020. NGV Friday Nights returns this summer during Keith Haring | Jean-Michel Basquiat: Crossing Lines, paying homage to the 1980s and New York downtown. DJs spotlight an 80s music moment each week, mixed in with drag performances, classic cocktails and New York City street food.
