Liverpool Comedy Festival Winning Performance

With a childhood dream of being a stand up comedian, I leapt at the chance of entering a stand up comedy competition to raise money for Wirral Mencap. Following 6 intensive training sessions with a professional comedian I wrote and performed my own routine at Prenton Park, the home of Tranmere Rovers FC, in front of 200+ paying guests and alongside the other amateur comedians. The winner of the contest was decided by the public vote, with my routine receiving the highest number of votes. It was without question the most terrifying and most satisfying thing I have ever done.
