LIVESTREAM REPLAY: The Running Man (2025)

This is a REPLAY of our livestream from November 18th, 2025, where we discussed the 2025 adaptation of THE RUNNING MAN! We went to the theater to see the brand new adaptation of the Richard Bachman (aka Stephen King) classic story, directed by one of Derrick's favorite directors, Edgar Wright! Down-on-his-luck father Ben Richards, played by human capybara Glen Powell, enters a brutal televised game show where “runners” must survive 30 days on the run while being hunted by professional killers. Desperate to secure funds to care for his sick daughter and escape the oppressive dystopian state, Richards becomes a symbol of defiance against a corrupt system built on spectacle and fear.
