Living Everyday with Chronic Health: Dr Yasmin Lazarus

from I Got Back Up: Getting back up with...

Ehlers-Danlos syndrome also known as EDS is a chronic health condition that Yasmin discovered she had been living with, albeit it had not been affecting her until her mid-twenties. This in turn brought on other chronic health conditions. Finding her tribe to learn, discover and ultimately be herself has impacted Yasmin greatly in her everyday struggles. As humans we tend to focus on the negatives over the positives, we are conditioned to it. Focusing on what our bodies can’t do, what we think is missing from our lives, what we might no longer have that we once did... but we can switch our mindset. Some days you'll switch it, and others will be harder, and that's ok. You are a human, and we are all still figuring it out, one day at a time.Follow Yasmin: InstagramUKPC InstagramUKPC website: https://www.ukparaclimbingcollective.comFollow Talia Lazarus on:Instagram + Tiktok + X Follow the I Got Back Up Podcast on:Instagram + Facebook + TikTok + LinkedIn + X + WebsiteWatch I Got Back Up on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/igotbackup Hosted on Acast.
