Advent doesn’t end when the candles burn down; it begins to take shape in how we live. John says that to know God is to love others—that’s what it means to walk in the light. The darkness is passing, and the true light is already shining. Living in the light means choosing love over resentment, grace over cynicism, compassion over indifference. The light we celebrate is meant to be lived.
