Living without regret

from Tea With George · host George Caylor, Diane Gruber, Steve Putney

Living Without Regret by Steve Adams Many years ago, I heard an interview with Jon Bon Jovi where he talked about going for his dreams and not looking back to say, “I should have done that”.  I thought it was a powerful idea and wrote to my kids about living without regret. I commented about how I worked to become an engineer, but achieved that and how finding that special wife was such a challenge, but found their mom.  I wrote about how I would dream of meeting someone from another country and how that too became a reality and how I always wanted to create a business that I still enjoy today. I wrapped up the letter by telling the kids that while I always wanted a family, the incredible luck we had in all of them was not something I DID, but something WE did together.   Today, I don’t look back and state, “I could have” or “I should have” or even “I would have”, but I am thankful that I took the opportunities to follow my heart because the joys of knowing “I DID that” are humbling.  It’s MY life and it’s Now or Never. Sponsored by the Caylor Group Wealth Management in Lynchburg VA.
