London-bound Air India plane clashes with 242 people on board

An Air India plane bound for London with 242 people on board has crashed minutes after taking off from India's Western City of Ahmedabad. The airline and local police say It remains unclear if there are any fatalities. The plane was headed to Gatwick airport in the UK and its understood the crash may have occurred in a civilian area near the airport. Jon Gericke spoke to SABC correspondent in India, Neha Poonia.
