In this heightened era of interconnection, through technological advances enabling information to be shared faster than it ever could be done before, we're facing a loneliness epidemic. It started with COVID, where most of us who were used to having daily conversations at the office were now reduced to chatting over a few bubbles in the app of the day, and now, we're seeing the results - despite having the ability to talk to anyone anywhere around the world in a moment's notice, we're now having less conversations and feeling lonelier than ever. And that's what we're hoping to address today - in how finding a new bestie starts with finding the friend within yourself, how to positively erase years of negative self talk to build you into the best friend someone else needs, and more importantly, how to lower your walls just enough to find that sometimes the best friends we really needed were just a few steps away.
