The hunt for lost gold and mines from the Spanish that were in Utah has been intriguing to me and I enjoy any reason to get into the woods and mountains. This is mainly a teaser. While I do discuss some topics and talk about spending time looking for gold with my Grandma Betty, I do not go into too much detail. If you would like more information, feel free to contact me.  When panning or looking for gold please follow all laws and respect others claims. DO NOT TRESPASS! You can recreationally pan for gold in many National Forests and BLM land. Many of the treasure stories you hear and read about are not true. They are embellished by the authors to get you to part with your own treasure for the story.
