Louisiana Trashy Treasure - Scent of Skunkape and Rise of Parlangua

Tonight, we are cooking with the locals! From Baton Rouge writer and director Kaleb Mixon and his company Grunch Road Media, we were blessed with these two punk rock, home-brewed Louisiana cryptic creature features that are definitely worth the watch. The Rise of Parlangua, a bloody biography of a mutant alligator-human, and Scent of Skunkape, an 80s inspired battle of a swamp Sasquatch and the Cajunest man ever seen, had us wheezing. Or maybe that was the herbal enhancement. The Midnight Movie Gumbo duo was even lucky enough to talk to the director himself to hear firsthand how these two gems came into existence.
