1 Corinthians 13 is commonly known as, "The Love Chapter." Love is the running theme of this powerful chapter in Paul's letter to the Corinthian believers. But, Love is the running theme of the entire Bible. It is the Love of God given to us through Christ which we must share with one another. Jesus said, we will be known by our love. In a modern, cynical, skeptical society ruled by selfish ambition, it is very easy to lose our focus on the pursuit of love.
