“Love & Pain”

What’s love got to do with it? No pain no gain is that true? My journeys in love and pain have been an experience. I have fallen in love. Only to realize that I wasn’t really in love. I have been a luat before too, that was short lived. I have confused, love for sex and sex for love in my past. Pain has always found its way to me. I believe it has a lot to do with how I was brought up and raised. Not so much the handling of me, but what I was exposed to. They say you are what you consume. So if I grew up consuming a lot of anger and negative energy, then there would be a chance that these types of influences could show themselves later on in my life. Now at the time of course I wasn’t thinking like this. Now, in my more mature years, I understand that there is a possibility to have love without pain. There’s a chance I have pain with no love. I’ve been able to learn so much through my marriage because of how kind and warm hearted my wife is. She has shown me how to be patient and that it is worth while. You don’t have to be what you have consumed over your lifetime. You have a choice the same way I have a choice. I choose love with no pain.
