Love is a polarity: How to allow yourself to open your heart to love

To anyone who has ever opened themselves up to be knocked back, shaken, shattered or mistreated.  You do not deserve it.   To anyone who has a heart bigger than most and feels almost everything, you are special. Don’t wish away your depth for feeling, even when things hurt.  You are a rare human being.  To anyone who is more often than not the one trying to make life easier for everyone else, only to feel controlled or out of control, stop disappointing yourself.  You deserve as much support and acknowledgement as everyone else.   To anyone who has made mistakes or decisions and owned them, rightly or “wrongly”, it’s okay to release any ounce of guilt or shame.  You are worthy. Forgive yourself. You do not need anyone else’s validation.  Read that again  ... From one people pleaser to another, if you needed to read this today, or hear this today, I hope it reaches you and lands like a Boeing 747 touching down on the tarmac after a long ass trip half way around the world.   You’re amazing, beautiful and the universe has your back, as long as you have your own.
