He studied education and after a 5-year intermezzo as a teacher he went into radio business in 1987. After the end of the GDR, he was involved in the development of public broadcasting in the new federal states of Germany at ORB's "Rockradio B". He left left „radioeins“ in early 2024 and now presents his well known show „King’s Music“ at webradio NCR RAW.FM (https://ncr-raw.fm) and as podcast on all relevant indie / alternative music platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, RTL+, Google Podcasts, Deezer and many more.
