Guest Bio: The story of DeKisha and Jonathan Heard, Sr.  began in a Chrysler factory in Dayton, OH  20 + years ago.  They didn’t know then what all God had in store for them but they have been blessed to travel the journey of life together and their lives are a testimony of what God can do when we surrender to His plans.  They have been married for 15 1/2 years. The Heards share a passion for giving back to their community and inspiring others through their life experiences, always willing to lend a hand and support others. DeKisha, is the Founder and CEO of EL and AL Cakes, a home grown bakery specializing in unique culinary creations. She also ministers to women through Breakfast with the Sisters and leads an annual Prayer Walk in the Dayton community. Jon works in hospital administration and is the visionary behind Breakfast with the Brothers and Release to Receive annual revival. He was recently awarded the honor of being named Parity’s Top 10 African American Males of Dayton, Ohio.
