After Christina Braithwaite mysteriously shows up at her doorstep, Leti confronts Atticus about his attempt to kill Christina and his plan to surreptitiously return to Florida. Later, in search of missing pages to a crucial text from the Book of Adam, Leti, Tic, and Montrose decide to head to Boston to find the vault of Titus Braithwaite and are joined by Hippolyta, Diana and Tree on the journey. At the Boston Museum an unexpected adventure ensues as codes, puzzles, trials and tests face our heroes in the cavernous vault of Titus Braithwaite as they seek the ancient Scrolls and try to stay alive. Meanwhile, back in Chicago a handsome stranger nurses Ruby’s disappointment over a squandered job opportunity and at Leti’s house on the Northside Atticus, Leti and Montrose along with an ancient hermaphrodite exit the elevator!!
