Low Risk Drinking and Working Moms

Kathryn interviews Randy Haveson MA, author of "Party with a Plan: College Edition: The Guide to Successful Drinking". It is estimated that four out of five college students drink alcohol, and of those students half engage in binge drinking. To address this Haveson developed the Party with a Plan 0-1-2-3 code to help students assess their alcohol consumption. Haveson's innovative alcohol education program has been featured on CNN Headline News, Fox News Network, and The Ricki Lake Show. Kathryn also interviews Pamela F. Lenehan MA, former Wall Street Executive, mother, and author of the book "My Mother, My Mentor: What Grown Children of Working Mothers Want You to Know". 70 percent of mothers in the U.S. with children under 18 are working. Yet 60 percent of adults polled still think kids do better when one parent stays home. Lenehan created a survey of more than a thousand people ages 23-44 about their childhood and interviewed working mothers and their grown children.
