Loyal Love - Part 2

Ruth 1:19-22We pick up the story as Naomi and Ruth enter into Bethlehem. Though we witness pain, we also see a fully sovereign God who puts His love on display.In this message we learn how to deal with bitterness towards God; and we understand a few ways the love of God is clearly evident in trials. As Jerry Bridges wrote, “God’s sovereignty over people means that God is in control of our pain and suffering, and that he has in mind a beneficial purpose for it. There is no such thing as pain without purpose.”Next week we introduced to another important character in the story, Boaz.
