 Israel rejected Yahweh as their king and in so doing start to worship God on their terms. This is a sobering reminder for us to align our worship on Gods terms.  -Homemade religion is convenient  -Homemade religion uses God  -Homemade religion leaves you hopeless -Homemade religion is destructive 

God shows His grace and mercy to Samson for us to see that He will not be mocked, and He will not share His glory with false gods. God always gets the last word. -God is Patient but He Will Not Be Mocked-God is Merciful but He Will Not Share His Glory

Repentance is a word that we as Christian’s should always remember. Our Christian life is a life of repenting for our sins, and turning towards and serving the Lord. 1. God is faithful and does not give up on his people. Jesus is the eternal King who takes on humanity to redeem His people from their sins.

God is gracious in providing the office of the Priesthood to atone for sin and to bring the people up to God. Jesus fulfills the office of the Priesthood in His Sacrifice on the cross to atone for sin and His daily intercession for the saints. He is our Great High Priest forever! 

How can we know what we truly need from God? The Father sent Jesus to speak truth to sinners who are desperately in need of Him. Jesus is the ultimate prophet who reveals God to His people. 

Song of Solomon reveals God’s intention for marital intimacy. Romantic love in marriage is not distant from God’s goodness - it is His design.- A Pure Romance- A Wooing Romance- An Affectionate Romance- A Maturing Romance- A Persistent Romance 

What does true servanthood look like? The Son of Man gives us a perfect example about servanthood and calls us to greatness as we live in service to Him and to others. - Greatness in the home will include suffering - Greatness in the home must include servanthood

Why for forgiven people forgive? How does the forgiveness we receive in the gospel motivate us to think radically about forgiving those who sin against us?
