THIS EPISODE IS GREAT FOR ANYONE WHO: Is trying to find their voice & purpose Has felt marginalized or different Wants to see themselves represented Considers themselves a rebel against societies exploitation of self-doubt & insecurity IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS: Les’s journey to becoming woke as a leader in the wellness space What inspired her recent shift in her brand & mission Staying small & simply existing  VS. using her voice & actively representing Choosing to stay true to her values instead of following industry norms  Her experience with the lack of diversity in the wellness space and making it more accessible for women of color Specific ways in which the wellness space can be more inclusive & representative for all In a society that profits from your self-doubt liking yourself is a rebellious act — and why she considers herself an undercover rebel Privilege and what it means to her Why we get stuck in the self-narrative that “more is better” Why we should take time to appreciate our own work Her approach to mindfully navigating the holidays Realizing she could be a voice of change, to speak on behalf of marginalized groups   CONNECT WITH LES: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/balancedles Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/balancedles Website: https://www.balancedblackgirl.com Podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/balanced-black-girl/id1438982040 CONNECT WITH ENGRID: Instagram: @livengproof JOIN the Liveng Proof Pod Squad Email: [email protected] For more information and full show notes visit: https://livengproof.com/   DONATE TO THE PODCAST   LISTEN ON ITUNES GET INVOLVED Hang out with the Pod Squad on Facebook for your daily dose of health, wellness, and uplifting conversation.
