Luke 23: The Substitute Innocent Savior - Good Friday

Reading from Luke 23 we hear of the cross, the sacrifice. Notice how Luke establishes the innocence of Jesus, if He were not innocent He could not be our substitute. Notice the exchange between the criminals and Jesus on the cross. The innocent man was willing to die for the guilty, so that the guilty can be treated like the righteous. Verses 44 - 46, the sacrifice has been made, the veil is torn in two and Jesus understands that it is complete.
