Luke 24:36-53 (July 05, 2026)

This is the end of our great trek through Luke. It’s also the historic moment when Jesus ascended and handed off his mission to the disciples. They must have been so intimidated by the responsibility of taking the Gospel to the world, especially in light of all their weakness and failures. How will they do it, now that he’s gone? How will they live faithfully in a hostile world and be the voice of Jesus to the lost? And how will we do it? Because of course, this mission has been given to us as well.
