Lying about exploding walnuts

from Basement Banter · host AJ, Nick, and Caden

S2E2 - 7/10/2025 Would you get a tattoo of 15 walnuts on your face for $20,000? Should we be concerned that grass is winning? Is it ethically permissible to time travel to last Thursday and steal your own shadow? You won't have a shadow for a week, but you'll have two shadows next Thursday. If you had to replace all the car horn sounds in the world with something else, what would it be? Would you rather have a save point in your life you can return to at any time, but you can only have one, or have a "New Game+" option after you die, where you restart your life with all your current memories? Every time you successfully tell a lie, $1 appears in your pocket. Every time you get caught in a lie, you lose $100. Do you change your behavior? How rich/poor do you become? You have to rename the United States after a fast-food chain. Which one do you pick? Would you rather have a phone that is permanently at 1% battery but never dies, or a phone that is always at 100% but the only app that works is LinkedIn? If you got a DM from Obama telling you to cut ties with AJ would you do it? Suppose you’re eating a bowl of cereal. It explodes. Violently. Cereal is just everywhere. But you clean it up and it’s fine. You’re still hungry though. All you have is cereal. Do you get another bowl?
