Lynette on the Blessing of Family

What do you thank God for? Every day when you wake up and start your day. First thing that pops into my head, my family, my kids. Oh, there was a time when I went through a horrible divorce after 30 years, and I was worried about those relationships with my children, and wow, you know what? God is amazing. He restores, and once something’s been taken from you and then you get it back, or he restores it, I think you cherish it even more, right? It says so right in the Bible in Joel, that God will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. Oh, I believe that verse.So anytime I can help my kids or see my kids, or my grandkids, or any family… I’m thrilled and I’m so overflowing with joy, and I don’t have to. I get to. So this afternoon after work, I get to put on one of my favorite Disney T-shirts with all the seagulls from Finding Nemo and play with my grandkids, all four of them, all afternoon. My favorite day of the week.
