On this week's The Ability Show with Adrianne Murphy, PND (Post-Natal Depression) effects 1 in 5 mums, usually during the first few weeks or months of having their baby. Symptoms may include sadness, low energy, anxiety, irritability and insomnia. Madge Fogarty, Co-Ordinator with Pnd.ie suffered with PND after the birth of her 2nd child. While looking for help and support she found that there were not many support groups so she decided to set one up herself and Pnd.ie was born, a support group made up of women who have suffered or are suffering from post-natal depression.
