Magic Moment // Why Are We So Overwhelmed?

from Sol Movement & Ritual Hosted by Felicia

"Put the big rocks in first"; a brilliant analogy by a brilliant mind BUT what if there are just too many big rocks? How can we acknowledge the myth that we can do it all if only we prioritize the "main" things. With all the work we do here around value alignment and setting priorities our world just plain has too many things that we want to say yes to. Saying no to something we know isn't aligned isn't the hard thing, saying no to something we wish could be a yes IS THE THING. Often times we live on the brink of complete overwhelm because there are so many good things we would love to do. As mothers we also "should" ourselves right into the ground. Layering expectation onto ourselves until we have no room to breathe. How can we dig ourselves out from under this pile of big rocks and "should's"? In this episode we talk about the power of an embodied YES and how we can plan based on seasons of our lives. We also discuss recognizing the fuel you are running on (hint hint fear, shame, need for approval are all unsustainable fuel sources!).
