Maine Democrat Accused Of Rape Finally Suspends Campaign, But That’s Not Why He Quit

The democrat who just won 70 percent of Maine’s vote in the primary election, has now officially dropped out of the race. Graham Platner posted an 11 minute video to X last night, stating clearly that is wasn’t the “false” rape allegations that forced him out, but instead, it was because of the Democratic Party itself. Platner claims the political system and the party took away the funding and structure necessary for him to continue his campaign and made it clear he is innocent of the allegations questionably timed to end his candidacy.
