Violet's proprietary system for benchmarking cultural competence uses a variety of disparate data about each partner provider (e.g. training history, professional experiences, identities, etc.) to identify and showcase culturally competent providers. Prior to building Violet, Gaurang spent 4 years building insurance and technical products at Oscar health, a health insurance startup build from the ground up.
