Making your Own Choices

from Contemplations · host Angelo Karageorgos

How do we make decisions about us? It usually appears that we are too much affected us by the impression that we may leave to others even if we do not recognize it or want to admit it. Many times we even reach a point where we are fully dependent on what is "considered" to be good. Personally, I doubt that this way we can reach a relatively satisfying life. Should not we also have to take into account facts about our own course? How could we then approach each of our decisions so that we come closer to our authenticity? As it is not possible for our acquaintances or the media to always know better than us what is best for us.
