A year later, he joined Stoke City, on loan before making the move permanent in January 2006.He remained at Stoke City until November 2006 making 55 appearances before joining Norwich City. Injuries however restricted his time at Carrow Road, and he moved to Milton Keynes Dons in October 2008.In March 2014, he joined Cambridge United, the club he supported as a child.He also made 13 appearances for England U21s.He is currently a key figure at the Football Fun Factory, which teaches boys and girls of all ages football, teamwork and how to play the game, which may one day, produce a future England men’s and ladies team captain.
