Mantissa Mix 274: Bex

"I’ve really been digging these older records I’ve got from like '98 - '03 that are sitting in this little sweet spot between tech house and techno. They have a real repetitive trancey vibe to them but in an off kilter kind of way. I wanted to mix these together with some more understated tunes that I have that I don’t get to play so much. I’ve really been loving these more moody tracks and b side vibe productions at the moment - probably a reflection of my own mood because of the weather in Melbourne at the moment, but it’s nice to get a chance to give these records a run that might be too challenging or moody for a summer dance floor full of smiles. As always there’s a mix of old and new, but it’s all on the same tip." @becarmstrongmusic
