"The mix traverses quintessentially UK club sounds with the latest underground electronic music from the SWANA region + Arabic speaking diaspora. The mix expresses an insight into my own personal Arab-British identity and the in between space I exist in but definitely circa 4am on the dance floor in a sweaty room. It also expresses the mixture of sounds I like to play at Habibti Nation, the club night and radio show I run. Definitely quite a mix of genres from old school UK funky, new UK techno and hard drum, Portuguese batida and new electronic experimental club sounds from Cairo, Amman, Tunis and the Arabic diaspora. Also a Palestinian trap and an Egyptian and a Lebanese pop tracks thrown in. YALLAH!
