"It has always been difficult for me to describe the kind of music I like to play, I guess it’s usually techno, electro or whatever. As we only have one word in Spanish for “genre” and “gender” it seems fitting that I try to listen beyond genre and see beyond gender, as we do on my label Bestiario Collective. Both language and location influence the way we perceive the world, and for this special mix I wanted to convey all the fun latinx sabor and sounds that remind me of my house-dominated Peruvian scene; with my own twist of course.
