Friends of the Rosary,As we read today (Matthew 5:43-48), Christ Jesus tells us, through his disciples, in the Sermon of the Mountain:"I say to you, love your enemies,and pray for those who persecute you,that you may be children of your heavenly Father."When talking about our enemies, the Lord invites us to overcome evil with good while filling our hearts with the perfection of the Holy Spirit."So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect."God is perfect in love.The sun and the rain do not discriminate. Likewise, God’s love does not discriminate; it embraces all humanity.
