Friends of the Rosary: At that time, the crowd was asking Jesus for a sign from Heaven to believe, despite the countless miracles He performed — as we recently read in the Gospel (Lk 11:29-32). The Son of God Jesus said to them: "This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of Jonah." The sign of Jonah was the victory of his death and Resurrection. The monumental, timeless demonstration was His Resurrection, the central mystery in our lives.
