„Sorge(n) um die Seele“: Über religiösen Wahn, Identität und Individualisierungsweisen im Kontext der säkularisierten Anstalt: Tirol 1830 – 1870 26. Innsbrucker Gender Lecture Wintersemester 2012/13 Im Mittelpunkt eines Forschungsprojekts zu Psychiatrie und Religion in Tirol und Salzburg von 1830 bis 1870 stehen Frauen und Männer, die aus psychiatrischer Perspektive an einer religiös gefärbten Psychopathologie litten. In dem Vortrag werden historische Konzepte der medizinischen Therapie und pastoralen Sorge um Leib und Seele mit den Deutungs- und Orientierungsmustern, mit Frömmigkeitspraktiken und Verdammungsängsten der betroffenen Frauen und Männer verschränkt und konfrontiert. Der Zugang zum Problemkontext brüchiger Identitäten, Individualisierungsweisen und Erfahrungszusammenhängen im Irrenhaus erfolgt dabei aus geschlechterkritischer und handlungsorientierter Perspektive auf Basis historischer Krankenakten Mag.
