MARIE ANTOINETTE

from TICK TOCK ROCK

UntitledA song I wrote about the French teen queen, who was firstly hailed as a dirty come Dauphine and then through her reckless life style and colossal spending and gambling caused enormous poverty for the french people who eventually sacked the Bastille and gave rise to the french revolution where all Nobility and royalty were executed by the guillotine in the now place de la concord. People said by the time of this revolt Marie Antoinette and the French king Louis were out of touch with reality their opulent life styles and palace cost a third of France's GDP in today's money the palace cost 30 billion dollars. Marie had jewelry costing tens of millions per item and she would have hundreds of costumes made each year, her gambling binges would last days and days.
