Marina Collins #8 - How To Manage Anxiety In You And Your Children

from The Jonnie Jensen Show · host JONNIE JENSEN

Team Super Dad Guest Marina Collins:Marina Collins is a former single Mum from Fife in Scotland. After getting out of an abusive relationship she rebuilt her life, fell back in love and created a wonderful new family with single Dad, Barry. During that journey Marina battled with anxiety and in finding a solution became an NLP practitioner and firewalk instructor. If you enjoy this podcast please leave a review on iTunes or wherever you listen. If you do not enjoy it then keep quite and send me some feedback!!I've had a curious attitude towards anxiety. "Surely people can just calm down and get on with it?" I've thought. As like depression though, it is not exactly that simple and as I find out in this conversation with Marina, there is a physical reason why it is not always possible. If you have ever seen the Bob Newhart video "Stop It" then you may be somewhere in between those two ideas. After a couple of conversations though recently with people who have anxiety I had to reflect on my understanding of it and my ability to help others. Also in this episode Marina shares experiences of being a single parent from a Mothers perspective. Interestingly in her new marriage, she has trouble getting her children's father to see them, whilst her husband Barry has previously had trouble gaining access to his children. This is a fascinating, warm and entertaining conversation with a wonderful mother and empowering friend.Enjoy the podcast and be sure to search up Marina yourself.Transformations - FacebookTransformationsPheonix Firewalk Company - FacebookPheonix Firewalk CompanyTeam Super DadTeam Super Dad - empowering single Dads to earn more, play more and achieve more in life.
