A pastor is vain to think he can preach so well that unbelievers will come to faith apart from earnest prayer, and a church is vain to think they can be effective in ministry apart from prayer. All true ministry is consecrated by prayer. "In every ministry, weighty for good, prayer has always been a serious business prophetic of good." We not only should pray more, but we must pray more.
