Yes the market can go higher after that. But please remember this is not what happened late last year. Late last year we had two or three things that were different. One was China had lower margins encouraging speculation. Two was China had a fund that was conducive to access speculation. Three London lease rates were high, and London had no metal. Since then, LBMA has gotten some metal from the US JP Morgan, probably, China has essentially shut down that UBS fund, and margins in Asia are much higher. We cannot count on the Asian hours to follow through as much as we used to. Put it this way if it does follow through be pleasantly surprised, just do not expect us to have what we had happen before happen a second time.* MONDAY, APRIL 1310:00 amExisting home salesMarch4.09 million6:20 pmFed governor Stephen Miran speaks* TUESDAY, APRIL 146:00 amNFIB optimism index98.88:30 amProducer price indexMarch0.7%8:30 amCore PPIMarch0.5%8:30 amPPI year over year3.4%8:30 amCore PPI year over year3.5%11:15 amChicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee speaks12:45 pmFed governor Michael Barr speaks1:00 pmBoston Fed President Susan Collins, Richmond Fed President Tom Barkin and Philadelphia Fed President Anna Paulson on a panel about rural economy* WEDNESDAY, APRIL 158:30 amImport price indexMarch1.3%8:30 amImport price index minus fuelMarch1.1%8:30 amEmpire State manufacturing surveyApril-0.2%8:30 amFed governor Michael Barr speaks10:00 amHome builder confidence indexApril381:45 pmFed Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman speaks2:00 pmFed Beige Book* THURSDAY, APRIL 168:30 amInitial jobless claimsApril 118:30 amPhiladelphia Fed manufacturing surveyApril18.18:35 pmNew York Fed President John Williams speaks9:15 amIndustrial productionMarch0.2%9:15 amCapacity utilizationMarch76.3%10:35 amFed governor Stephen Miran speaks* FRIDAY, APRIL 178:30 amHousing startsMarch1.49 million8:30 amBuilding permitsMarch1.38 million12:15 pmRichmond Fed president Tom Barkin speaks2:00 pmFed governor Christopher Waller speaks This is a public episode.
