Lou & Deb chose to work with organic cotton, Australian makers and responsible business practices from the beginning. The pair designed the first collections from a 1950s cottage on Sydney’s Palm Beach, and bassike has the ease and vitality of Australian beach life in its DNA. Their debut collection was a considered edit of luxurious, organic cotton jersey t-shirts and pants that instantly connected with wearers in search of contemporary designs with the versatility to work within their existing wardrobes.
