Matty J Chats with 4 artist from the Sounds of the Kimberley album Monique Le Lievre Elly Ottenhof Lenny Gordon Matalja Sounds of The Kimberley was the second of nine new regional recording projects funded through the State Government of Western Australia’s Contemporary Music Fund. The projects focus on skills and development opportunities for local sound engineers and artists, with workshops offered in tracking and mixing techniques, as well as acoustic design and treatment across WA’s nine regions. The project was announced in June 2019, with ten Kimberley acts from across the region selected in July to take part in the project.
