Together we bring our burdens to Jesus and place them into His faithful hands. Matthew 11:28 (NIV) “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” As this part of the day arrives, many people are carrying more than they were ever meant to carry alone. Some are carrying responsibilities. Some are carrying worries about family. Some are carrying concerns about their health, their future, or the challenges that seem to wait for them tomorrow. Perhaps you understand that feeling today. Sometimes the heaviest burdens are not the ones people can see. They are the worries we quietly carry within our hearts. The conversations we replay. The situations we cannot fix. The questions we do not yet have answers for. Yet into the middle of all that, Jesus speaks these beautiful words: “Come to me.” Not when everything is perfect. Not when all the answers have arrived. Not when life finally becomes easy. Come now. What a loving invitation. The Lord never asks us to carry our burdens alone. The Good Shepherd welcomes us to bring every concern, every fear, and every uncertainty into His presence. Father, thank You that Your arms remain open to us today. Lord Jesus, we bring every burden into Your hands. The burdens we can name and the burdens we struggle to describe. Help us release them to You rather than carrying them alone. Holy Spirit, quiet our hearts and teach us to trust the Lord more deeply. Replace anxiety with peace, worry with confidence, and striving with surrender. Across the world, from London to Mexico City, from Nairobi to Sydney and Houston, may weary hearts discover fresh strength and may burdened souls find rest in Christ. Jesús, gracias porque llevas mis cargas. Jesus, obrigado porque carregas os meus fardos. Jesus, salamat dahil dinadala Mo ang aking mga pasanin. Amen.
